Professional Biography

Cited as an outstanding business leader by the Business Report, Jo Lynn Deal uses her leadership experience to help companies build partnerships and greater collaboration with their customers.  She is an Integrated Marketing Communications strategist with the unique ability to make connections with people to create mission-driven alliances. In 2012, Jo Lynn founded myMarketing Cafe, an online community resource center for owners of small to midsize businesses and non-profit organizations.  Her client list spans many industries: finance, real estate, home insurance, government, and various professional services. Using an engaging coffeehouse concept, she shares her expertise through a well-organized, in-depth library of marketing and communications resources.  Services include comprehensive planning with effective and integrated use of employee development, content, SEO,  SEM, and social media platforms (like LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest), blogging strategies, webcam strategies, and various social media couponing.

While serving as a senior executive for a Fortune 1000 company, she was recognized as a high-potential executive and entrusted to lead a complex IT integration project. In her leadership role at Community Partnership for Children, Jo Lynn directed an organizational rebranding with a focus on multi-media design, website design and support, strategic corporate communications, brand management, and social media strategy development. She is a polished corporate spokesperson, especially in crisis situations, with expertise in positioning a company’s viewpoint and enhancing the corporate reputation. Jo Lynn is an engaged professional devoted to superb communication strategies driven by stories and excellent outcomes. She
 earned a bachelor of science in business administration, with a marketing concentration from the University of Central Florida. She received executive leadership training through AchieveGlobal and accreditation in public relations through the Universal Accreditation Board. She is one of only 4300 professionals to hold accreditation in public relations. Jo Lynn is a freelance writer and Internet columnist, and author of a workforce leadership blog providing effective leadership strategies for executive leaders.

As a volunteer, Jo Lynn most recently served as a member of the board of directors for the Florida Public Relations Association (Volusia/Flagler Chapter) as the VP of Public Relations. She currently serves on the board of
